All QRS systems are available on Colmann -France® pianos.
1/ CD2000: Entry-level model. Player piano + audio accompaniment (orchestra and/or vocals) (not the original version).
2/ Pétine: reads CDs/CD Roms and is equipped with a Compact Flash Card reader.
Three digit LED display.
It offers the same options as the CD2000 . It can read original CDs by artists in our catalogue whilst simultaneously operating the player piano system.
For example:
Put on an original Elton John CD from the ‘Sync-along' series. You'll hear Elton John himself singing and playing – virtually as if he is at your piano – since the keys will physically descend and play the whole album.
3/ Ancho: Has all the features of the Petine system plus additional features:
- 20-character alpha-numeric display.
- Onboard sound card
- Is able to read MIDI files. Channel 1 is linked to the automation of the piano. Channels 2 to 16 are connected to the sound card, then towards the audio system in use.
4/ Q-sync (video): video + DVD player interface
This system allows you to watch a concert from the ‘Sync-along DVD' series. Connect the DVD player to your normal screen (TV, PC monitor, Plasma screen etc). Then just imagine being able to watch the wonderful Norah Jones in concert, while the piano recreates exactly what she's playing before your very eyes – simply amazing!!! Depending on what the customer wants, the audio accompaniment may be delivered in different ways:
1/ Two HIFI speakers are fixed under the piano. This is ideal for playback at normal volumes.
or
2/ A 3 way system with sub woofer and a dedicated amp with mic ins. The whole system is specially designed and set up in France by our technicians.
3/ A Bluetooth transmitter connected under the piano to the PianoCD control box, and a Bluetooth receiver connected to the room's sound system.
Or
4/ A sound system external to the piano and a standard CD player, all remotely controlled by infra-red (see the 2000C system on the QRS website)
For the places or the times when we need a little calm, but we would nevertheless like some player piano background music:
The system can play extremely quietly, but given the fact that the sound is acoustic, there is a minimal decibel threshold below which we cannot go, in the case that the user requires a very low volume of sound. If this is the case, you simply need to install the MasterMidi ‘silent' option: The piano keys will move as normal, but the hammer shank stoppers will interrupt the hammers just before they strike the strings and the piano is silenced. The silent system's sound module, (relayed to the piano's speakers) will then take over. The result: The volume can be adjusted to the desired level!
